Bart Palaszewski set to face Cody McKenzie at UFC 130 in May.

The UFC have announced that WEC and IFL veteran Bart Palaszewski (35-14) will take on Cody McKenzie (12-1) at UFC 130 which takes place on May 28th in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

McKenzie will be looking to bounce back from his first career loss which he suffered at hands of Yves Edwards, via submission, last January at UFC: Fight for the Troops 2.
Palaszewski is also looking to bounce back from a loss in his last match, WEC 53 saw Palaszewski lose a split decision to Kamal Shalorous.

Although Palaszewski, a BJJ black-belt, has over 40 fights to his name he is still only 27 (he will turn 28 two days after the fight) and has tremendous experience under his belt. However McKenzie will be looking to begin another win streak and Palaszewski will need to look out for McKenzie’s nasty Guillotine which the 23 year old he has used to finish 10 of his 13 fights.
