In a video interview with UFC commentator Joe Rogan he talks about James Toney’s calling out of UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar and Rogan tells the tale of how bad Lesnar would take out a guy of Toney’s caliber adding that a punch from him would not be enough to take him out. Rogan says that with Lesnar’s Viking like style of destroying people he replies, “That’s a rap son, you’re done.” Pretty funny commentary from Rogan as usual as he says a whole bunch of other crazy but true things of the UFC heavyweight champion.

And what, may I ask, is Rogan’s assessment based on? Is it lesnar’s huge number of fights in the trash world of mma? A total of 4. What, may I also ask, is the caliber of some of the ass grabbers that make up lesnar’s extensive mma fight history?

Rogan, obviously, is more impressed with crude brute strength rather than skill and finesse. But, he is by no means alone because mma trash fans are just like Rogan.

The point I am making has nothing to do with that same lame argument about what you would do in a street fight. If you’re one of these dumb ass people who like to argue practicality then I must remind you that there exist no rules in the street.

I argue that it takes more skill to be a boxer. If you need a theory, then here it is, just for you.

Toney, a pure, P-U-R-E, pure boxer, with no mma fights, is going to take on a so-called mma legend in his first mma fight. Can you imagine a scenario where a pure, P-U-R-E, pure as grabber from the ufc would attempt the same thing, at the same level of competition, but in boxing? Of course not. Boxing, especially at the elite level, requires far more skill than any ass grabber in the ufc has. This is why boxers are better than any ass grabber. Boxers are proving, by entering mma, that they are the greater athlete, in both talent and heart.

As for boxing not being exciting; that’s just your ignorance showing.

Have you ever even seen a fight of Manny Pacquiao’s, Arturo Gatti’s, Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barerra, Israel Vasquez and Rafael Marquez and his older brother Juan Manuel, David Tua, Tomasz Adamek and the list goes on and on.

If you were hinting at Pacquiao vs Mayweather, you are talking about a fight that could generate hundreds of millions of dollars(an amount of money, for one fight, that can rival the value of the entire ufc organization) and when you consider the level of the boxers and all of the egos involved, it’s not going to be that simple to make the fight sometimes.

Show me where a pure, P-U-R-E, pure ass grabber, in his first boxing match, with no boxing experience, would knockout a former heavyweight champ who is 33 yrs old and the ass grabber is almost fifty. So unlikely that it’s close to impossible.

No, I get it and I see that, finally, so do you. He is the greater athlete if you see it like you’re seeing it. However, you’re over simplifying it by saying, sarcastically, “Oh, he’s better so he should win.”

I also agree that Toney is the finer athlete but I’m realistic and understand that he has not fought professionally in mma and that makes it a risky endeavor. But that is what makes him the better athlete. He is showing the kind of competitive spirit that any top ass grabber has yet to show.
