For as much criticism that UFC president Dana White gets, Dana White doesn’t pretend he is your friend and does not mix his words he tells you straight out where you stand with him at all times. That is the case with Josh Koscheck, White does not pretend to be best friends with the welterweight fighter, but does not play down his skills in the Octagon.
In a recent appearance on the “MMA Hour” with Ariel Helwani, White gave his thoughts on the current number one contender for the welterweight title and did not sugar coat it as usual. White also complimented Koscheck as a fighter for growing since his appearance on the Ultimate Fighter season 1.
White also defended his choice to make Koscheck the number one contender for the welterweight title, he also defended his reaction to being hit with an illegal knee by Paul Daley in his recent win.
I know that a lot of people criticized Koscheck for his reaction to Paul Daley’s illegal knee, but it looks like he was hit with an illegal knee by Daley. It just was not when he reacted to it, if you check out the GIF below you will see that Daley actually did hit Koscheck with an illegal knee before they stood up.
I just wanted to set that straight, since I was unable to post it a few weeks ago due to time restrictions.
