Matt Hughes is not known for holding his tongue and in his latest blog post he spoke about how StrikeForce lets Showtime into their business a little too much. Hughes says he believes that the interference will eventually cause StrikeForce to go out of business.

“Once again sorry about the late blog. Last week I was in California with Robbie, Pena, and Foster, hoping they would find a replacement so Robbie could fight. It didn’t happen and I guess I’m just spoiled being with the UFC. From what I understand, Showtime really likes to stick their nose in Strikeforce’s business and because of that I don’t think that Strikeforce will be around for much longer; but enough with that.”

I know Hughes is probably pissed off that Robbie Lawler did not get a last minute opponent, but won’t this get him banned from future StrikeForce events?

I know he works for the UFC, but talking crap about a promotion where his younger fighters can make solid money and get quality opponents does not seem like the brightest idea.
