TUF 10 Finale: Live results, Round by Round commentary at 9:00 pm (Dec.5)

Tonight live from the Pearl at the Palms casino, The Ultimate Fighter season 10 will be broadcast on Spike for a full card of UFC action. We will update the un-aired preliminary fights on the top after the broadcast, so no do not post spoilers.
Non-Televised preliminary fights
- John Madsen defeats Justin Wren by split decision
- Brian Stann defeats Rodney Wallace by unanimous decision
- John Howard defeats Dennis Hallman by TKO, Round 3 (4:55)
Main Card (Televised)

Round 1:
- Jones rushes Mitrione and lands a takedown using underhooks in under :45 seconds.
- Jones goes to work in side mount, but Mitrione is doing good off his back.
- Jones lands a few punches and knees as Mitrione stands back up.
- Jones rushes forward for a takedown and Mitrione misses his face by a few inches with a knee.
- Fighters clinch again against the cage around the 3:00 minute mark, exchanging knees up close.
- Mitrione puts his haed down, Jones grabs the guillotine with one arm in.
- It’s tight, but Mitrione does not look in trouble and gets out.
- Jones lands a single leg trip with under a minute left in the round.
- Jones looked rocked by a punch, but was able to takedown Mitrione as he rushed in to look for more damage, round ends.
Round 2:
- Jones attempts to throw a low kick and jab combo, but gets caught coming in and is knocked out cold.
- Mitrione lands a punch to Jones chin while on the ground unconscious and the referee stops the fight.
Official decision: Matt Mitrione wins by Knockout, Round 2 (0:10)

Round 1:
- Edgar and Veach trade in the early moments, but nothing major.
- Veach attempts a takedown but is stuffed.
- Edgar throws a headkick, but Veach catches the kick coming off of his head and takes down Edgar.
- Edgar stands up and Veach picks him up and slams him hard.
- Edgar begins to go to work as the fighters stand and Veach is not moving around too well.
- Veach controls the fight off of takedowns, but Edgar’s standup is more crisp.
- Close round.
Round 2:
- Veach is once again pushing for the takedown against the cage, but Edgar is battling.
- Edgar is landing short crisp punches to Veach’s jaw with power.
- Edgar lands a short hook to Veach’s jaw again and he is rocked.
- Edgar moves into side mount and is punishing Veach, now from his back.
- Edgar grabs the rear naked choke with his hooks sinked in to Veach’s back and finishes him off.
Official decision: Frankie Edgar wins by submission (rear naked choke), Round 2 (2:22)

*Preliminary fight
Round 1:
- Brammer starts off in the south paw position and lands a few kicks on Boceck.
- Brammer looks a lot like Sam Stout.
- Boceck takes down Brammer, Brammer stands and gets slammed again.
- Boceck takes his back and locks in a body triangle, landing strikes from the back.
- Brammer attempts to stand and Boceck grabs his back with his hooks sinked in.
- Boceck has the rear naked choke sinked in and makes Brammer tap while standing.
Official Decision: Mark Boceck wins by submission (standing rear naked choke), Round 1 (3:36)

215 lbs. Catch-weight bout
Round 1:
- Houston circles to his right and is looking to size up Kimbo.
- Slice has not moved and is waiting for Houston to strike, but both fighters are staying patient.
- Joe Rogan: “This is just getting weird, he has circled for a minute now.”
- Houston is landing small kicks to Slice’s left knee and not letting his get too comfortable.
- Houston is looking to pick his shots 2:15 into the round, but he is not engaging.
- Fighters finally exchange against the cage, but no major blows are landed.
- The audience is cheering Kimbo, but Houston rolls and lands a jab.
- Houston gets space again and lands a kick to Slice’s knee again.
- 1 minute to go and this has not live up to the hype at all, Houston has slowed the pace and is picking his shots.
- Kimbo is looking for jabs and Houston counters with kicks every time he does.
Round 2:
- Houston exchanges inside and outside leg kicks, sticking to his gameplan.
- Kimbo attempts a big punches but misses the mobile Houston.
- Kimbo lands a big jab on Houston and takes him down agains the cage.
- Kimbo is landing short elbows in full guard and lands another big shot as Houston stands up.
- Houston slips and Kimbo lands another big punch.
- Kimbo lands a big body blow.
- Kimbo just slammed the shit out of Houston on to his head.
- Kimbo has full mount and is landing big punches.
- He now has Houston’s back and is punishing him WITH HOOKS IN WTF?
- Kimbo lands in full mount on top of Houston again.
- He is landing punches from the back and they stand up.
Round 3
- Houston starts the round once again circling to his right.
- Houston rushes in and lands a nice jab and they begin to exchange in the center of the Octagon.
- Houston lands a big kick to Kimbo’s knee and takes him down, but does not capitolize.
- Slice takes down Houston after he stands up and has control from the top.
- Kimbo is landing punches to Houston’s abdomen.
- Hoston and Kimbo are gassed as the ref stands the fighters, but Houston lands a kick as he stands.
- Kimbo rushes in and lands a big punch, but Houston counters with a big elbow.
- The fight ends with both fighter’s hands on their knees.
- We are going to the score cards.
- What ever judge gave the fight 30-27, must have missed the entire 1st round.
Official result: Kimbo Slice wins by unanimous decision on all three judges score cards. (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)

Round 1:
- Jones tries a front snap kick to start off as the fighters size each other up.
- Jones and Hamill exchange low kicks, but no major damage landed.
- Hamill tries a single leg takedown, but is met with a jab to his face.
- Jones attempts a spinning back elbow, but misses.
- Jones slams Hamill on the fround with a leg trip.
- He is now in full mount and landing big elbows, but Hamill is moving well.
- Hamill’s head is opened with a elbow, he is also grinding his elbow into Hamill’s eye.
- Mazagatti stops the fighters and deducts a point from Jones for a “12 to 6″ elbow, but Hamill does not get back up.
- A pool of blood is settling over Hamill’s eyes and he can no longer continue.
- Jones dominated the veteran Hamill on the ground and broke his nose.
Official result: Jon Jones disqualified for illegal elbows on the ground, Matt Hamill wins by DQ after he can not continue.

Round 1:
- Most of the first round is blackedout by Spike for some reason and we miss at least half of the round.
- Excellent first round as both fighters exchange strikes and change top position.
- McSweeney got top position, but does not do major damage.
- McSweeney ends the round with a front teap kick to Schoonover’s chest.
Round 2:
- McSweeney gets top position on Schoonover and begins to lay down punishment.
- Schoonover lands a small punch from the bottom on McSweeney’s chin.
- McSweeney attempts a big punch while standing to a downed Schoonover, but wiffs.
- McSweeney gets Schoonover is side mount and lands a big knee to his body.
- McSweeney begins to punish Schoonover with punches while he is in the turtle position.
- Schoonover reverses McSweeney and does nothing with the dominant position.
- McSweeney lands in full mount and then switches to back position as Schoonover rolls out of the way of damage.
Round 3:
- Fighters exchange and McSweeney gets the better of the strikes as he slams Schoonover.
- McSweeney has side mount but does nothing with the position and the ref stands them up.
- Schoonover comes out guns blazing and lands a few punches on McSweeney.
- This is a very sloppy fight and both fighters looked gassed.
- McSweeney lands a flying knee and a head kicks.
- He follows up with another knee and a few more upper cuts
- Schoonover falls to the ground and is unable to continue the fight.
- Ref Josh Rosenthal steps in and stops the fight.
Official decision: James McSweeney wins by TKO (ref. stoppage), Round 3 (3:20)

The Ultimate Fighter “Heavyweight” Finals
Round 1:
- Roy Nelson rubbed the Burger King logo with his foot and came out to weird Al’s “I’m Fat” Parody of Michael Jackson’s “Bad”
- Schaub is using his jab to keep Roy at bay.
- Roy attempts a takedown, but Schaub avoids it.
- Roy finally takes down Schaub with underhooks and begins to go to work.
- Schaub is bucking, but Nelson’s belly is a immovable object.
- Schaub gest up and begins to land combos with his punches on Roy.
- Nelson swings back, but misses.
- Schaub catches Nelson coming in attempting to jab.
- Roy Nelson lands a big over hand right to Schaub’s chin.
- Roy Nelson throws two jabs takes Schaub’s attention and lands a big over hand right which floors him.
- Nelson lands a punch to Schaub’s chin while he rolls flat on to his back and the fight is over.
- Roy Nelson is now The Ultimate Fighter season 10 winner.
