Next Saturday night will be the UFC 107 fight card from Memphis, Tennessee as BJ Penn is set to defend his lightweight championship for the third time against Diego Sanchez in the main event and although fans will be tuning in to the pay-per-view broadcast, there will not be any live preliminary fights on Spike TV as the casual MMA fans have been accustomed to in the past few months.
Reports show that Spike and the UFC will not be teaming up this time around to hold the UFC 107 live prelims due to the fact that Spike will be hosting the 2009 Video Game Awards which will start on that same December 12 night at 8 pm.

Still, The Ultimate Fighter “Heavyweights” finale will be live on Spike this upcoming Saturday night from the Pearl theater at the Palms Casino & Resort.
