Anderson says Jones awaits him post UFC

Anderson Silva has made it no secret that he wants to fight legendary Boxer Roy Jones Jr., but not in the Octagon in a MMA bout he wants to fight him at his own sport in a ring. The UFC was not able to fulfill Silva’s request last year when he told them about his ambitions to fight Jones in a Boxing match. So instead, they gave him a new 6 fight deal with a raise and offered to let him fight as many times as he wanted during the year. Now Silva says once his deal is done with the UFC that a fight between him and Jones is already in place.

In a interview with GracieMag.com Silva spoke about his potential fight against Roy Jones Jr.

“After my contract with the UFC ends and end my career in MMA, I intend to have a boxing match with Roy Jones. That’s something that’s already been arranged, it’s all practically a done deal. Now I just have to wait and see”.

Fan Question: Will Anderson Silva face Roy Jones after his deal expires or will the UFC make him a offer he can’t refuse to return the the Octagon?

I dont think Roy Jones is going to be any good by then so he has my blessing to destrroy an old Roy, but I think the UFC is going to pull the same shit they did with Couture on Anderson

I think Anderson would tool Roy Jones even 2 years ago his jab and his reach are amazing plus he is bigger has a great jaw and has a reach advantage
