UFC president Dana White was not impressed with the “Per-for-mance” of the Pacquiao vs De La Hoya production at Saturday night’s event, he even says they should give the UFC some of their Emmys too.

Dana White spoke to Dave Meltzer of Yahoo!sports on his thoughts about the second highest grossing Boxing event ever.

“Did you see the production? And that was HBO. Maybe they should give us some of their Emmys. The pacing was awful. There was no energy in the crowd. They had to loop Pacquiao’s music when he came out because he had to walk so far.” White said about the production of last nights bout.

White also took out the time to say that last night’s fight was a “bad day for Boxing” and took a few shots at Floyd Mayweather.

“I love boxing as a sport and I came from boxing, but this was a bad day for boxing,” White said. “[Floyd] Mayweather’s probably running out of money and will probably return to face Pacquiao, and I’d pick Mayweather in that one, but nobody is going to draw like De La Hoya does.”

We know Dana White has tried to ensure that the UFC always stays the focus of any fans who love combat sports, so it is no surprise to see him throwing a few jabs of his own. It is pretty much the same thing a few Boxing promoters did after UFC events or whenever asked about MMA in interviews.
